Biography

Jenny is an industrial engineer with over 20 years of diverse experience spanning international trade, project management, workforce development, and communications. In 2024, she was promoted to Program Director at the University of Houston's BRAIN Center, where she leads Workforce Development initiatives. In this role, she develops innovative strategies, implements transformative programs, and represents the Center both domestically and internationally, driving its growth and impact. Jenny's expertise includes business development, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement, enabling her to guide organizations toward success. She is passionate about education and community engagement, particularly through enhancing summer programs that enrich students' learning experiences. Her career also includes serving as Director of Communications for the Consular Corps of Houston, where she advanced communication strategies among consular officials. Since 2015, Jenny has collaborated with Houston Gateway of The Americas, managing projects that promote business opportunities and strengthen international ties. Her leadership in initiatives like the Panama Business Council’s trade missions showcases her commitment to fostering global partnerships. With a foundation in marketing, recruiting, medical data analysis, journalism, and web management, Jenny brings a comprehensive skill set to every endeavor, making a lasting impact on both local and international communities.
