Biography

Dr. Mario Ortiz is Associate Professor and Senior Researcher of the Brain-Machine Interface Systems Lab at Miguel Hernández University of Elche, Spain. He got a Ph.D. in 2016 related to the development of signal processing techniques on Industrial Technologies. He was a visiting professor at the University of Houston (TX, USA) in 2019. His current research activities include signal processing of EEG signals, transcranial direct current stimulation and Brain-Machine interfaces for the control of robot entities. He also studies the relationship between art and neuroscience.
