Pranav Parikh

Dr. Parikh perform basic research to further the knowledge about the role of human brain in movement control and in learning new movement skills with a long-term goal of utilizing this new knowledge to design novel interventions to improve clinical outcomes. Dr. Parikh has broad background in neurophysiology, biomechanics, measurement of kinetics and kinematics, and application of a wide range of techniques including surface electromyography, transcranial magnetic (TMS) and direct current (tDCS) stimulation, electroencephalography. He had  mentored 20+ graduate, undergraduate, visiting researchers, and high school students in his laboratory.  The team, strive to address research questions of high societal importance. In addition, he published his research work in reputed journals, and had successfully competed for funding at federal and institutional levels.
